I’m Spencer, a family medicine resident physician at the University of Pennsylvania.

Having grown up low-income and as a proud Philadelphia public school graduate, I view medicine as a way to improve health equity for communities like the one that raised me.

Coupling my clinical training with graduate research training in epidemiology and education,  I try to unite high quality research and educational techniques to address health inequity in the clinic, in the classroom, and beyond.
